For the past few months I have been searching for a good deal on a chest freezer. We don't have a garage but we do have a storage closest on our porch. After I took measurements I determined that we could fit a 5-7 cubic foot chest freezer. A chest freezer new was out of our price range so I started checking craigslist daily for one. We missed out on a few deals and I started to get a little hopeless this late into the summer. Luckily, I checked last Thursday and found a great deal. A GE 5 cubic foot chest freezer, and only 1 year old for $75. YES! The post had only been up for an hour. I emailed immediately and offered the $75. After Brian got home we went and picked it up.
Saturday we cleaned out the storage closet (something that desperately needed to be done anyways) and put the freezer in! I am so excited to be able to take advantage of good deals on bread, milk and other grocery goods. I only took pictures after we had everything back in the storage closet, but you get the idea.

When we were going to Law School my Mom bought us a freezer just like yours. It was such blessing. Since I worked at the hospital; 24/7. Our weekends were filled with make making dinner after dinner and freezing them. It was great. You will LOVE IT!
