This last week our crib was recalled (not exactly what an expectant mother wants to hear). Fortunately, they were offering a full refund. I immediately went to work looking for a new crib. There were several things about the old crib that I didn't like (only things that were not immediately noticeable, like not being able to attach teething guards and mobiles to it) and was simply putting up with it.
We ended up buying the Graco Lauren Convertible Crib in Expresso:
I like the simplicity and clean lines look of this crib. It also matches the rest of our home a little better. When we decided on the last crib I was choosing more traditional furniture and colors. Now, we definitely like darker woods and cleaner lines. We ordered it from the store and should be getting it later this week! Hooray!

I hate to tell you this, but Ariel has the same crib and it was recalled. So you might want to look into the Lauren crib by graco. Love ya! :)
Fortunately, I did look into that. The recall was for the drop-side Graco Lauren cribs, they have a new version out that has stationary sides that has not been recalled! Whew!
